SiteHSE runs entirely on your device. Your sites, inspections, permits, toolbox talks, incidents, evidence photos, signatures, worker records and generated PDFs are created and stored only on your phone or tablet. We have no servers that receive them, no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. In Google Play terms, SiteHSE does not collect or share your data. The only optional exception is the heat lookup you can turn on, which sends an approximate location to a weather service — described below.
Everything you create in SiteHSE — projects and sites, inspection checklists and corrective actions, permits to work, toolbox talks and attendance signatures, incident reports and their photos, RAMS documents, the competency register, the audit log and every PDF the app generates — is created and stored only on your device. There are no accounts and no cloud. AuraTech never receives any of it. The app uses the internet in exactly two places: to process your one-time purchase through Google Play, and, if you switch it on, the optional heat reading. Your records are never uploaded.
AuraTech collects nothing. SiteHSE has no servers, no accounts, no analytics SDKs and no advertising SDKs. We cannot see your sites, your reports, or how you use the app. The app does not use an advertising identifier — the Android advertising-ID permission is explicitly removed from the app, so no component can quietly acquire one.
SiteHSE is built for health-and-safety recordkeeping, so the records you create will often describe other people: worker names, employers, trades, employee IDs, phone numbers and photographs on the competency register; certification details and expiry dates; attendance signatures on toolbox talks and permits; and the people involved in an incident report.
That information is yours and your organisation's, not ours. It stays in the app's private storage on your device, and AuraTech never receives, hosts or processes it. Where data-protection law applies to your work, you (or your employer) are the controller of those records and are responsible for collecting them lawfully, telling the people concerned, keeping them secure — including securing the device itself — and retaining or deleting them in line with your obligations. SiteHSE gives you delete and export controls to help you do that.
There is no microphone permission: SiteHSE never records audio. Permissions are requested only when a feature needs them, and what you capture through them stays on your device.
All content lives in SiteHSE's private storage on your device — a local database plus the evidence photo files. Deleting the app removes this data. You are responsible for keeping your own backups (see below).
The heat-stress feature can fetch current temperature and humidity. If — and only if — you turn it on and agree to the prompt, SiteHSE sends an approximate location, rounded to about 1 km, to Open-Meteo, a free weather service. No account, no identifier, no API key and no other data are sent, and AuraTech never receives it. This is the only request the app makes to any server other than Google Play. It is off by default, it can be turned off again at any time, and if the lookup fails the screen simply shows no reading.
When you generate a PDF — an inspection report, a permit, an attendance register, a competency certificate, an incident report — or export a full backup, SiteHSE hands the file to your device's standard share sheet so you can send it where you choose: email, messaging, a cloud drive, a printer. AuraTech is never a recipient and never receives these files. Where a file goes after you share it is governed by the app or service you send it through.
A backup is a single zip file containing a structured export of your records together with your evidence photos. It is written wherever you tell the device to put it. Treat it as you would any other file holding personal data about your workforce: it is not encrypted, so store and transfer it accordingly.
SiteHSE offers a 7-day free trial followed by a single one-time purchase to unlock the app. There is no subscription. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. AuraTech does not receive or store your payment details. Google's handling of your purchase is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
SiteHSE contains no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no profiling of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is measured or reported anywhere.
SiteHSE is a professional tool for construction and site-safety work and is not directed to children.
